LOVE IS THE TREASURE, LAUGHTER IS THE KEY
My name is Tiago, I am Father of two Beautiful boys, surfer, Jazz Lover and photographer ever since. The reason I became a photographer is simple. To me photographs are one of the greatest treasures I could ever have. The photos are much more than just paper and ink.
Doing this as a profession is an incredible honor. Given this trust by my couples means the world to me. If I were to photograph your Wedding, please know that I do not want to mold your story into a false narrative to fit a standard Wedding template. Instead, I hope to craft a unique and honest story that artfully preserves the memories of one of the most important days of your lives. A love story that represents who you are as individuals, as a couple, and as a member of a loving Community.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe when my clients hire me, they are hiring me for my ability to tell their stories through my lens. Being a wedding photographer it means I take the time to create a storyline for my clients that will be truly magical. I want my clients to look back on one of the biggest days of their lives and relive each and every moment. Every couple deserves their fairytale wedding. I will make sure your wedding is documented in the most beautiful way possible. If it requires me to insert myself in order to make a genuine moment happen, that’s what I will do for my clients. I am a photographer, a director, a curator, and most of all, a story teller for your wedding.
APPROACH
Every wedding is unique, and offers an opportunity for a love story to be told in completely different ways. My job is to document those fleeting in between moments, encapsulate memories in a tangible form, so my clients can pass down their memories for future generations. Throughout a typical portrait session, I will lead my clients in different scenarios and have them react to me naturally. Reaction always produces the most genuine emotions, rather than actions. Most of my clients tell me they don’t even feel like it was a portrait session. It felt more like a typical Saturday afternoon stroll in the park with their favorite person.
